AI is changing how small businesses operate and you don’t need to be a tech expert to take advantage of it.
We’re excited to share that the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce applied for and was selected to receive a grant to bring the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business B(AI)sics training initiative to our business community.
This is more than a one-time workshop. Small Business B(AI)sics is an 18-month curriculum designed to give small business owners ongoing opportunities to learn, explore, and apply AI in practical ways. The program offers tools, training, and resources to help you save time, increase efficiency, improve customer service, and uncover new opportunities for growth.
This session will be led by Christopher Allen, President and CEO of Hewman.ai
Christopher Allen helps organizations make AI work for humans, not the other way around. With 25+ years leading learning and development at Target, Blue Cross Blue Shield, 3M, and Kaplan, he brings Fortune 500 insight with consulting agility, designing programs that move the needle on AI adoption, leadership development, and critical thinking.
At 3M, Christopher delivered leadership training to 68 countries, pioneering one of the first global corporate broadcast networks (3M TV). At Kaplan, he built the company's first online professional education platform, scaling it to 25+ regulated segments and $33.5M in annual revenue. At Blue Cross, he created an enterprise ethics program with CEO and board sponsorship, unifying culture and compliance across seven companies and 5,000 employees.
Now, as Principal Consultant at Hewman.ai, Christopher works directly with organizations on AI strategy, governance, and enablement - then steps into the room (virtual or in-person) to facilitate with their teams and leaders. He has equipped 1,000+ professionals with practical AI skills and served as lead SME for Coursera's "Copilot for Marketing" specialization, rated 4.7/5 by 2,200+ learners
Developed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Google.org, Small Business B(AI)sics is designed specifically to help entrepreneurs understand how AI can work for their businesses.
