Self-Care: Why It Is Important

Employee Engagement Surveys show stress levels are high, and many employees are on the verge of burnout or have already experienced burnout. This presentation delves into the vital concept of self-care as a powerful antidote to the stressors we encounter daily. Contrary to common misconceptions, self-care extends beyond occasional spa days and vacations; it is an essential practice that can be integrated into our daily routines to help prevent burnout.
We will identify the six dimensions of self-care and examine how self-care contributes to mental, emotional, and physical health. Each participant will have the opportunity to take a self-care assessment.
